SWIM has some MHRB and is thinking of getting some harmaline tincture (extract?) - does anybody know if this is a good and effective combination? And whether it is likely that SWIM will purge doing this (and of course observing all MAOI dietary precautions). I know some have said that jurema cold water extraction is active without MAOI but thinking the harmaline might ensure more activity...

Wed, March 18, 2009 - 1:01 PMThanks - just a comment - I prefer non-puking whenever possible myself. Can't speak for my friend but I view puking less as a spiritual purge and more as a matter of my body rejecting toxicity.
Given that:
Will harmaline extract be less likely to induce puking than rue itself?
Is there anything one can do with the mimosa cold-water infusion that would lessen nausea? I understand tannnins cause the nausea and purging and MRHB must be filled with tannins.

Wed, March 18, 2009 - 1:08 PMextract of rue will definately be less pukey. you can find a great method involving vinegar & salt that will leave you with relatively pure mixed harmala alkaloids. ive heard something about using gelatin or egg whites to remove tannins & other nasties from mimosa... -
