My interest. Hmm. I forget exactly when and how I discovered your book. I think I got it when it first came out after reading about it online. I have been interested in near death experiences since I was a young boy. I have been interested in lsd and other things since I was around 15. Although I havent tripped much for years now. I had a mechanical ( St Jude ) heartvalve replacement on 03/29/02. I have been on www.tribe.net acting a fool for a few years now as Mr. M. I of course found the dmt tribe which is moderated by dimi3. I have seen Nobu & Trance on Tribe for a while now and think theyre good people. So last week D____, known as Trance Plant on Tribe, asked me if I'd like to assist with data compilation. I thought he was joking at first. Since reading your book I have been a HUGE fan of yours and Alex Grey. Maybe not the biggest fan. Because the biggest fans are totally fanatical and know everything about their heros. But I hold you guys in very high esteem and was very excited to be invited to help. I wasnt sure if I could do it because I dont know computers real well. But D____ got me set up with the dropbox and OpenSource software or whatever it is. He created a private tribe on Tribe and he and K___ have been answering questions for me. I think I'm getting better with the submissions. K____ said not to worry though. That he reviews them before final submission and adds things if it's incomplete. I dont really know him. He seems nice. D____ is very nice. As well as patient. I told D____ to please keep me in mind if you guys get the physical site going in Taos. I told him I'd be the receptionist, janitor, security guard, etc.... Hell, if I have a living quarters on prem I would work for free as long as I could have healthcare coverage. I recently got laid off by ____________. My last day is 11/02. My 20 year anniversary working there is 09/11. I'm kind of blown away and have no idea what the hell I'm gonna do. I've been seriously considering starting a medical cannabis delivery service. I know growers and can do a great biznatch. I just don't want to get into trouble.

Anyway, back to my interest in the field. I'm not a scientist or anything. I have only a highschool diploma. I'm 41 years old. I am interested in psychedelic experiences and many other things. To make a long story short, as I've already stated, I'm a fan of you and Alex Grey and am just really stoked to be able to contribute in some way to something that means a lot to me. It's kind of a dream come true actually. I have been very depressed about losing my job and actually, really & truly, been considering suicide. Then Trance drops this bomb on me! I can't kill myself now. I have a purpose. I swear to Goddess Mr. S.! It's like a sign from the universe that has slapped me in the face and is saying "Don't worry about losing the job. You will be fine." Seriously though. It's a prestigious honor to assist. I told a few friends at work that I can't remember when I have been this excited for a long time. Even though I'm just helping with article submissions. It's my cool new hobby. And it's interesting to see the reactions of friends and family when I tell them about it. The response has been mostly very positive. My Dad is interested now too. Actually, if you send me a signed copy, I will mail my unsigned copy to my Father. He is the one person I love more than anyone else in the whole world. He's 65 now and I only see him for one week each year due to finances. He told me I need to come twice a year now because he misses me and if I'm only coming once a year he might only see me a few more times before he dies. And he needs to see me more. I may go live there for a while. Not sure.

Anyway - Part 2 = Sorry for the life story. I love you VERY much and admire you SO MUCH for doing what you do. You are a shining star. You are a beacon in the night that shines it's light. You may or may not know how much inspiration you have given to so many people. You help make life worth living. For this I thank you. You are the Piper at the Gates of Dawn. : )
