Hey Jordy, welcome to tribe, I too have just joined :)

SWIM read SWIY'S tek and and told me he was surprised that for a first try such a large amount was used...
When SWIM first started out he obtained finely ground MHRB incense (same cost as rough bark)
- He mixed 5g of pure lye into 200ml of distilled water until clear
- He added 20g of powder MHRB
- He shook it up real well in capped glass mason jar (typed used to make jam)
- He placed sealed jar in a sauce pan for a warm-water bath (140f / 60c) for 1-2 hours
- He added 50ml of pure naptha (ACE Hardware) and shook for 1 minute
- He loosened cap to relieve pressure and then re-capped and put jar back into warm water bath (140f /60c) for 1 hour
- He shook jar for another full minute, loosened cap, re-capped, back in bath for 1-2 hours until seperation occures
- He took jar out of bath and allowed to cool down
- He noticed that all the powder, lye and junk were below the naptha
- He siphoned off naptha very carefully and placed clear liquid into large open glass bowl/plate and re-capped the mason jar for later use.
- He immediately put bowl into freezer for 2 hours
- He then took bowl out of freezer and then put bowl into fridge for 2 hours
- He repeated this process and then left bowl in freezer over-night
- In the morning he poured off the liquid back into mason jar and re-capped for later use.
- At bottom of glass bowl were frozen crystals that he scraped with a razor blade into center of bowl with excess thawing naptha rushing to sides of the bowl.
- He allowed the thawing to continue for 5 minute before putting bowl back into freezer for 2 hours
- During this time he turned his attention back to the mason jar and added 50ml of naptha, re-capped and re-bathed in warm water as before starting the process over again with heating and vigorous shaking "the dmt shake"!
- After 2 hours he quickly scraped & poured the frozen crystals & liquid into a coffee filter which was in a funnel sitting in a glass jar and then quickly before and more melting occured placed jar + funnel + filter with crystals into the freezer for an hour.
- He then took the filter with crystals out of freezer and put in fridge on a dry room temperature plate and poured any remaining liquid into hot mason jar, re-shook and left in hot bath for final 2 hour seperation process
- After 2 hours the crystals were again put in freezer while mason jar was cooling down and siphon process done as before
- When the second pull is put into freezer crystals can come out and evaporate some more under an exhaust fan for 30 minutes before being re-introduced to the freezer.
- He'll usually repeat this freeze & thaw process three times until the crystals are fully dry and easily powdered with a razor blade on a plate and then left alone in the fridge for 1 night before being placed in a dark airtight jar for safe-keeping.
- He said that he can usually get 3 or 4 decent pulls using this method

Yes, SWIM is a bit anal and detailed when it comes to crystalizing, purifying and powdering his product... But, he assures me that he gets a great yield of pure stable powder that vaporizes clean, tastes great, is smooth going down and takes you for the ride of a lifetime :)

Also, this process seems to leave a very white powder (with touch of yellow) which can be easily cleaned and then re-tex'd after an equal part water/amonia wash... Although he's only had to do this once!

For larger amounts just up the proportions accordingly.
