I dont remember seeing this one in the movie (Animatrix) Is there more than one version? Very cool either way, the dialogue reminds me of Ghost in the Shell. The nature of reality is a fascinating topic.

The one I prefer the most is the last one in the series, number 9 I think. The one with the robot getting hacked or something and tripping out.
Very psychedelic. Very out there.
The whole soundtrack is 'phat as fuck' too ;-) -

Thu, February 26, 2009 - 6:49 AMAll I remember is that it's the last one on the DVD, number 9 (or 8) if I remember correctly. It starts out with some folks luring a killer robot into some place (a hangar I think). They proceed by disabling it, purging its "mind" and uploading a new program into it or something. Then the robot starts to wonder around and trip out. The animation style, characters and feel resembles the old Aon Flux series, only way better. It's been some years since I last saw this, so...
Oh no, wait, I think I just figure it out! We are talking about the same thing here. I couldn't see the one you linked (video not available in your country BS),. i only saw the other one called "Beyond" and apparently somewhere along got confused. Yeah, so eh, we're actually talking about the same video. My bad ;-)

Yeah, I agree. Peter Chung is the artist who did Aeon Flux and that particular short on Animatrix (also Rugrats of all things).
