Wow... whoa... ok, here goes:

I've launched myself into hyperspace prolly 15-20x at least, and have *never* had an experience quite like that.

I decided the day before that I would be best served by flying solo for the occasion, so I got my set and setting all nice, warm, and peaceful, water close at hand, and prepared myself. And I also decided to try it with the syrian rue for the first time, and swallowed a half-dose (about 1.5g) 90 minutes before launch. The rue had a mildly sedative effect, which didn't make me tired, but encouraged me to lie down and relax, and induced an overall enjoyable, pleasant sensation.

For those of you who haven't checked out the link above, the idea was to go into hyperspace with a phrase and a glyph/icon, that would represent you, and to try to visit Stonehenge while under the spell -- all of which seems rather silly in hindsight (more on that later), but it sounded at the very least like an interesting experiment, so I was up for it. "To infinity, and beyond!", ya know? I chose the phrase "I AM", the falcon-head of the Egyptian god Horus for my icon, and held a vision of Stonehenge in my mind's eye for a bit, until it was time.

When the clock ticked down to zero-hour, I put the flame to the glass (nonono, not directly on the spice -- this ain't my first rodeo) -- and my lighter died! Seriously, this has never happened before... wtf?! I frantically looked around for a lighter within arm's reach, and spied an unused votive candle from a friend's recent wedding. I was able to coax enough of a flame from the torch to light the candle, and was back in business.

Using the candle flame (lighting the spice in this way had never before occurred to me) put me in a good headspace, and as I contemplated this while taking my first deep inhalation, I heard a female voice whisper "you'll find this method to be a bit more... interesting." I smiled as I continued to breathe it in, and then heard a "revving up" of a sound, or a tone. Remember how when you used to go to the movies, and the old "THX" ad played before the previews start?

Yeah, like that, but LOUD. And the usual slow ramping-up of visuals was this time happening at breakneck speed. I barely had time to set the pipe down before achieving escape velocity -- and all this was from just one hit.

Usually the visuals -- while never ceasing to amaze, astound, and provoke me -- have somewhat of a "sameness" to them, which sounds somewhat belittling, I know, but I hope you understand what I mean. Hyperspace is familiar enough to me that, while it's always a "new" experience, I still have some idea of what to expect when I light the fuse.

This session, however, was like nothing I'd experienced before, everything was infinitely brighter, moved infinitely faster, and made all of my other sessions seem like a church bake sale in comparison. But I try not to compare sessions to each other... they are each their own, separate experience, but *this* experience -- great-googly-moogly, it was like being caught in a never-ending explosion, getting tossedtwistedturnedaround at light speed. Never before had I felt like I was in the presence of sheer, incomprehensible Power. Despite all previous readings, studies and experience, I had absolutely no frame of reference for this. It was glorious, life-changing, unforgettable.

During the trip, I had to struggle to remember that there was an experiment going on, and attempted to arrive at Stonehenge (or a similar facsimile of it) while thinking of the phrase "I AM" and being represented by a falcon. While thinking to myself "I AM," I hear a distinctly female voice say to me "you are... what?"

I usually come across female entities of one sort or another while hyper-traveling, but this time it seemed that the entire space I was inhabiting (which certainly seemed to stretch out to infinity) was itself decidedly female in nature. I was fine with that (not that it would have made any difference if I wasn't), and I fumbled for the answer "I am -- all that is."

"Did you really need to come here to figure that out?" she questioned. "No, I guess not" was my feeble reply, to which she laughed long and hard, my entire reality contorting to reflect her throaty laughter, which sounded half-dismissive, half "aw, isn't he cute"-like.

"Must get to Stonehenge," I thought, and while having absolutely no recollection of what that might look like, I was able to conjure up my Horus icon, which incited a monologue from her, the gist of which was that my icon was simply another egoic construct of mine, which was useless and limiting in this space, and was actually a monumental struggle to maintain. "Let go of your limitations, and resume your role as being one with all," was her message.

So I let go of the falcon, and everything exploded yet again with an indescribable brilliance. But for some reason I held on to the experiment, and thought that I should at least make one more attempt to arrive at Stonehenge (still having no memory of what it looked like), when I heard her utter the word "fine." Instantly, everything went pitch black and deathly quiet.

"Shit, now you've done it," I thought. Then I hear her voice again from a place that seemed far, far away, "go ahead to Stonehenge, go ahead and create it. Try it." And slowly the pieces of my memory fell into place, until I was standing within the stone circle, under a partly cloudy sky, illuminated by a full moon, a flock of birds flying high above me. The whole scene appearing to me, after the funbox I was just unceremoniously dumped from, decidedly pedestrian.

I hear her voice again: "There is NOTHING you have created on your planet that matches anything you'll encounter here." And as she uttered the word "here," I was whisked back up into the dmt realm, this time slightly ramped down, more familiar to me from previous visits, and very much welcome.

She continued, "if you want to go to Stonehenge, then go, but don't come here to do it. That's just silly, you see?"

Yeah, I see that now, thanks. Then I asked why this trip was so intense compared to all my previous visits. Was it the rue, or was it all the other travelers across the globe actively participating in the experiment at the same time? "Both," she replied. Um, ok, thanks again.

After the trip, while lying on my bed in my now candle-lit room (I love how that worked out) contemplating what had just happened (this was also, by far, the longest dmtrip I've experienced, roughly 40 minutes), I actually considered lighting up again, which I'd never done before, but quickly thought better of it. It seemed like I was at that moment attached to my 3-D reality by the thinnest of threads, and going back in again so soon might actually cut the cord, so to speak. "Rational thinking" won out -- this time.

Overall, a highly successful experiment, I dare say.
