Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Sun, May 4, 2008 - 9:27 PMno, I dont like music that has beats in it at all. maybe some water and cricket sounds, wind, ect. Music just distracts from the trip for me. I do like listening to music during a high does K trip. For Deemer, just soft music if im going to listen to any.

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Sun, May 4, 2008 - 9:50 PMDrums,( at a heartbeat or eagle beat ) Singing bowls, (I've only found one that resonates with it) Azam Ali's In the shadow of life. TooL (wings part one and two, also parabol and parabola). Underfoot (The Desert), Astarius' (Spirit Rap),Buddhist monks troat singing is my personal fav. though. Silence can be every bit as novel, and much less biased though, I guess it depends on your intention behind the journey. -

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Sun, May 4, 2008 - 10:17 PMInteresting. I sort of need music to trip on just about anything. I am able to actually travel to the song and actually be a part of it, so to speak. Trance music moves so fast and DMT slows things down so much, that it has a very interesting effect. Sometimes trance artists will also incorporate binuaral beats into the music, messing with your brainwaves. The effects of this are ofc ourse magnified when on any psychedeliec.
Sometimes I like silence, but I more so like to take the opportunity to be entertained while I am traveling. I'll have to be honest though, the sound running water doesn't interest me as much and music that is designed to mess with my mind.
Cheers! -

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Mon, May 5, 2008 - 4:40 AMI've been experimenting with seeing cymantic images form with eyes closed from music within my proximity. Generating frequencies in the studio has gotten a lot more interesting.
I like dark psytrance if it's blasting,
and I like ali akbar khan when my eye lids flicker -

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Mon, May 5, 2008 - 4:46 PMscroll down about 5 post subjects to "Favorite Tunes" to get a really good list of music dmters like, but while on dmt one would have to specify what dose level. I like "infected mushrooms" while watching G-Force visuals, which were both recommended to me by Motumbu and others a few weeks ago.
i live alternately for about 2 years in different countries, and I noticed that my taste in music can really be altered by the culture that I'm surrounded by. After a few months my old music is sounding like its lost its magic, and then I know that I will be hearing new beats with a now-sexy crispness that speaks to the always new me. This is really good for me because I get totally off into a new direction every few years. Right now my favorite of all favorite music is LIVE for sure and a type without an english name that I heard alot in Salvador, Brazil. Its like 15 different drummers, singers, rattlers, and cool wierd instuments playing really fast beat, Voodoo, and all a different beat not even trying to go with the others and all crazy out, but all so fast that the effect is got to dance trance state for everyone in listening distance. And if you feel a desire you can always just go up, with good grace in your eyes, and enter the fray, some divine revealer will for sure hand over his instument to you because that is what the beat is proclaiming. -

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Tue, May 6, 2008 - 2:58 AMG-Force is fucking awesome! I have been using it for about a year in my home theater with a laptop on a 120" screen. G-Force doesn't advertise it, but it is in 3D too. If you get yourself some basic chromadepth 3D glasses…you will be blown away! I got my 3D glasses from this Paul Oakenfold - Voyage into Trance 3D DVD. I'm not huge on Oakenfold, but some dude called Love Mushroom mixed a 3D show to his album - newestrelease.stores.yahoo.net/vo...tml
I also got a couple of these CGI psychedelic trance DVD's by Doctor Spook, who is part of the Phoenix Family in San Francisco. He makes videos that can only be described as, "SEEMLESS PSYCHEDELIC HIGHEND IMMERSIVE ENTERTAINMENT. These will blow your mind too:

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Sat, May 24, 2008 - 10:30 AMWhile ON DMT? None actually. Plenty of music in my head. With 5-MeO-DMT, I don't think it even matters. All fades out at some point. With N,N DMT, maybe useful but never tried it as my own experiences have always been in remote outdoor locations away from people. Listening to music AFTER an experience... that's an entirely different matter. I find the sounds of nature together with those in my head plentiful however.
Same with Salvia. -

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Sat, May 24, 2008 - 5:46 PMSome music can evoke concentrated Heart and Throat Chakra activity... in that state, did ya know? Nothing too beat wise, but if it is in the right key.... it lifts one deeply inside!

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Tue, May 27, 2008 - 9:14 PMNothing... I'm usually outside, so there are out side noises. In the woods, by a river, by a fire, wherever. I'm not averse to music or sounds created by people but I think I am more interested in seeing what comes out of my insides than what happens when I am stimulated by a physical outside presence such as music. -

Re: What Music Do You Listen To On DMT?
Sat, June 21, 2008 - 2:34 PMThere are no specific songs, icaros, shamans make particular sounds and create certain vibrations to create objects, some objects have longer durations than others, some less...everything is made of time. P.S. I don't take MDMA, a.k.a Adam. Perhaps, that's the difference. I know better. :) "Mark" usually works. :) And, as always, powered by myDMT. :) Tuning her up. :) Bye, bitch! :)
