Sometimes I wonder if I might be near death on a regular basis, would my brain or body produce more dmt? Like maybe that is a possible reason why I have such totally freaked out dreams alot? Or maybe it's just all the freaky books about conspiracy and serial killers I read combined with the freaky shit I watch? This is an interesting post. I myself have wondered for quite some time, why is it that the mayan/aztec (and others) did what they did? being such aware, spiritual beings, they were capable of what seems to us as some of the most violent deaths in history. Well, sad to say i don't think the sacrificial rituals had anything to do with dmt. human beings have certain blood types, A, AB, B, and O. and of course the positives and negatives to go into further specific detail. when blood types are mixed, they are unable to work together, and create massive clotting, which can cause death in many cases, especially at the doses shown in historical texts about the mayan rituals.
Another aspect against this theory, is that we as modern psyconauts view DMT much differently than they did. they saw the psychedelic molecules as gods in plant form, rather than a molecule streaming through our mind technologies and our blood. so in their frame of mind, i don't see them drinking the blood for these purposes.
