I have never done DMT even though I really would like to. My only experiences with having trips are on mushrooms, LSD, salvia, and an intriguing combination of ecstasy with salvia at the same time which was a trip like non other. I guess basically I would just like to know what a DMT experience is like when compared to other psychoactive substances . Also if one seeks to have an enlightening DMT experience what would be the best setting to have one?

Tue, July 7, 2009 - 1:52 PMYou can't really compare DMT to any of those other tools. It takes you somewhere completely different yet the same place. I cant remember who said this, but Its a good description " DMT is to LSD, what Heroin is to Asprin". But as for what setting you should be in... I personally will never do it anywhere but in nature. It makes for a very peaceful exit from the other realms. Plus I love looking at the rainbows of energy coming from the trees afterward. -

interesting, this is what i see on a daily basis if i focus enough, those bands of rainbow colored energy that connects to all that is living. i have tried to explain this to some people, but they just ask me if i am on drugs, lol, when the truth is i am clean of any kind of drug, no psychedelics except for the natural DMT dosage in me already, it is just a matter of being able to keep yourself at a certain level of a vibratory rate, which requires an extensive amount of self work and gaining of Knowledge, then putting it to action which is Wisdom.

I think it was Tom Wolfe in 'Electric cool-aid acid test' who said that Kesey and his friends would take the occasional head or hells angel up into a treehouse on Kesey's La honda property to smoke and always the person would come stumbling down with wide eyes and looks of astonishment.
You can't really prepare for it in that sense.
Just be grounded with yourself, good head space, expect nothing, ready for anything... for setting all you need is a safe comfortable place. That could be indoors or out, with friends or not. It's subjective to the person, so go with what feels right to you.

All that focus is just scratching the surface versus opening the pineal gland ALL the way. I think DMT let's us see a reflection of our true selves ~ the entity of pure radiant boundless energy that is all things. -

One approach to moderation is when people ask to enter and have no friends or obvious links to the tribe then request a statement of WHY they want to join. I've turned more than one suspicious individual away from "Hell" and my suspicions have been invariably spot on. Seeing their 'manifestations' in other places later reinforces my instincts.
To get into hell one must be 'worthy' ;-) -

Actually a very warm place and people can let their hair down. I'm a rather lazy moderator, but people have in the past exceeded the reasonable limits and been PM'd. Persistence led to booting in a few instances. I run a loose ship, but don't tolerate loose cannons rolling around on the deck ;-) -

Wed, July 15, 2009 - 6:42 PMI'd say (in my experience) very similar (The alkaloids in mushrooms are Tryptamines). By high dose I refer to the 7 gms dried I took once upon a time in a Universe far far away ;-). Main difference is that the shrooms take over an hour to arrive, while with DMT it is a matter of seconds (might as well be instantaneous) ... Click..!!!. Whoosh...!!! KABOOM!!!!!!!!! WHOA..........!!!! -
